  New interest rate for variable rate Ontario Savings Bonds – Convenient, Flexible And Secure Investment Option For Ontarians.
  The Ontario government announced today that the interest rate for the Variable-Rate Ontario Savings Bonds (OSBs) will be re-set at 1.75 per cent for the next six months.

  2008 Ontario Savings Bonds Higher Rates Announced – Bonds More Competitive – Same Flexible Purchase Options.
  The Ontario government announced higher interest rates for the 2008 issue of Ontario Savings Bonds (OSBs) to keep pace with a changing investment market.

  The new rates are:

  Variable-Rate Bond:	3.00 %
  Fixed-Rate Bond:	3.50 %
  Step-Up Rate Bond:	2.60 %
  	2.80 %
  	3.00 %
  	3.20 %
